About the school

The instructors

Chris Stidston-Nott is a former Royal Marine who used to make a living jumping out of helicopters. He is now RYA approved as an Advanced Powerboat Instructor and has more than 15 years teaching experience both on and off the water.

Chris grew up in the Salcombe area and his knowledge of the local coastline is second to none. He now heads up a team of highly qualified and experienced instructors who work together to create a safe and enjoyable learning environment for all visitors to Salcombe Powerboat School.
